The processor is based on ARMv8 architecture, and the specific model is Family 8, Model 1, Revision 201.

The processor has two clusters: one with 6 cores and the other with 4 cores. The former facilitates efficient task scheduling and power management, providing high performance. The latter is for better resource allocation and power efficiency.

The CPU’s base clock speed is 3.42 gigahertz (GHz), which indicates the speed at which the processor operates under normal conditions without any turbo boost or overclocking.

According to the specifications under Interference information, the device can perform machine learning interface tasks. It has the ONNX framework, DirectML as the backend for hardware acceleration, and Qualcomm Adreno GPU integrated into the Snapdragon X Plus processor; all of these make this device suitable for carrying out AI-related applications and tasks without any problems.

Adding to the excitement, recent leaks by Albacore on X indicate that the upcoming Windows 11 upgrade will need a minimum of 16 GB RAM, which highlights the importance of powerful hardware specs.

Furthermore, we learned that the new AI Explorer is limited to ARM-based PCs running Windows 11. However, there is scope for Intel-powered devices as well.

As the event date is coming closer, we have a lot to anticipate and are eagerly waiting for the official announcement about the latest products and what actually mean for a user.

Are you excited about the Microsoft event?
